This is your opportunity to create a routine that showcases exactly who you are as a performer — whether you're powerful, emotional, theatrical, sexy, humorous or completely original. The performers who stand out won't just win a title—they'll earn their place on the Pole Icon Global stage!

Entry Requirements

To enter Road to Icon, please complete your entry and payment using the link below. Entry fee AUD$50 (including GST).

Your entry will be officially registered once both your payment and completed entry form have been received. Entry does not guarantee you a spot in the competition. All submissions will be reviewed by our iconic judging panel and assessed against the official selection criteria outlined below.

Video Submission Requirements

Please submit a video that is at least two minutes in length and clearly demonstrates your current skill level, performance quality and unique style. Your submission does not need to showcase your final costume, music or finished routine—we simply want to see you perform at your best. This is your opportunity to demonstrate your technical ability, movement quality, stage presence, creativity and and what makes you stand out as a Road to Icon competitor.

As part of your entry, please provide as much detail as possible about the performance you intend to bring to the Road to Icon stage. Your proposed theme, creative vision, music, costume, styling, props, and overall concept will all be considered by the judging panel as part of the competitor selection process.

SHOW & THEME

Judges will consider the originality and overall concept and artistic vision of your proposed performance. This includes your intended theme, costume, music, styling, props, and presentation, and how these elements will come together to create a cohesive performance. Your video submission does not need to showcase your final costume or presentation, but it should demonstrate the concept and performance style you intend to present on stage.

MOVEMENT & FLOW

Judges will evaluate your movement quality, including transitions, floorwork, musicality, timing, fluidity, and movement on and off the pole. Judges will also consider how seamlessly you connect elements of your performance, your body control and expression, and your ability to create an engaging and dynamic performance.

TECHNICAL ABILITY

Your video should demonstrate your current technical ability and performance standard. Judges will assess technical ability, execution, body control, clean technique, extension, leg lines, hand placement, and the originality and variety of movement throughout the routine.

ICON FACTOR

Judges will consider the overall impact of your performance and what makes you stand out as a Road to Icon competitor. This includes your stage presence, originality, artistic identity, emotional connection, showmanship, and the lasting impression your performance leaves. We are looking for performers with the confidence, creativity, and presence to create truly iconic moments on stage.
